Cold chain

The temperature record is part of the delivery

A reefer load that arrives outside its set point is a rejected load, and the cost lands on the shipper. We treat the temperature record as a deliverable, not an afterthought.

On every refrigerated load

  • Set point agreed in writing before dispatch
  • Trailer pre-cooled and reefer pre-tripped at origin
  • Continuous monitoring for the full length of the trip
  • Downloadable temperature record after delivery
  • Food-grade wash and sanitation records on file
  • Dispatch escalation if a unit faults in transit

Cross-border fails on paperwork, not capacity

Most border delays are documentation problems. We file the eManifest ourselves and coordinate PARS or PAPS release with your broker so the paperwork is on file with CBSA before the truck reaches the bridge.

Importing into Canada under CARM

Since January 1, 2026 a customs broker’s business number can no longer be used to release commercial goods on an importer’s behalf. Importers of record need their own CARM registration and financial security posted.
